Bulgur Salad

This recipe is easy to prepare and healthy. This dish, at least the vegetarian variant thereof, takes very little time in preparation and only few, but therefor healthy ingredients are needed. And for those of you who can not do without meat, I have also information how you can do this recipe with meat. For those who do not know Bulgur, this is a kind of oriental and healthier form of rice.

What do you need?

Sour Cream,
Olive Oil,
Cherry Tomatoes,
Red Onion

Step 1: Place a pan over a medium heat and add some olive oil. Cut the onions and fry them for few minutes. Add bulgur and salt and pour in water. The water must be about 1 cm over the bulgur. Simmer for 15 minutes.

Step 2: Meanwhile, the salad can be prepared. Cut cucumber, tomatoes, onion, radishes and parsley into small pieces. Refine with lemon juice, salt and pepper. Mix it well.

Step 3: For the cream yogurt dip a half cucumber, half a pack of yogurt, half a pack of sour cream and garlic or garlic granules are needed. Mix the extremely fine cutted cucumber with the remaining ingredients. Done.

Step 4: Arrange the bulgur, the salad and the yogurt dip nicely and Bon appétit!

Step 5: If someone longs for meat, then this dish tastes best in combination with chicken strips. Simply fry some onions, cut the chicken meat into strips and add it. Sauté and season the whole thing well. Then serve with bulgur, salad and the yogurt dip. Bon appétit!
