In collaboration with Emilia Lay. My dears, we´ve just spent a wonderful week on the Greek island Kos. Very soon there will be some blogposts featuring our holidays, so stay tuned. Our learning from this vacation? Not to pack that much stuff anymore. The next time I definitely want to avoid overpacking. This time I had too many dresses, nail polishes, shoes and beauty products with me. Somehow I can understand that I wanted all this stuff with me. Especially on holidays you want to look beautiful and to pamper yourself. The thing is also on holidays time flies and maybe you also do not want to change your clothes three times a time. That´s why many dresses came back to Vienna unworn. I don´t like this fact, because I could have used the space in my luggage for some souvenirs and I do love and enjoy shopping in foreign countries the most. This year I have to confess that I also had so much fun shopping for the holidays – I guess that´s because I do not travel that much…However I want to share with you some picks that maybe could be inspiration for your next journey. Some of you may know that I love dresses and skirts. I discovered this beautiful red, sleeveless dress by Emilia Lay as well as this gorgeous multi-color skirt by Peter Hahn. This wonderful summer jeans by Samoon is perfect for the arrival and departure day. I have experienced that you don´t need more than two bags with you on holidays. All you need is a big beach bag like this one here by Linea Sogno and a classy evening bag like this one in light gold by Peter Hahn. What I´ve done properly this time was to pack just two swimsuits and not five or six like I`ve done in the past. You really do not need more with you for one week holidays. All my shared picks are currently available online at emilialay.de and many of them are even on sale, so take a look. I´d love to know what summer holiday essentiells you prefer and of course where you are going to spend your holidays this summer.
